Harvey Weinstein's personal assistant at his office in New York City has filed a sexual harassment suit in federal court against the film mogul, his brother and business partner Bob Weinstein, and their production company.

The lawsuit alleged that she was forced to facilitate the film mogul's sexual encounters as a condition of her employment.

Sandeep Rehal, who worked for The Weinstein Co. from 2013 to 2015, alleges that Harvey Weinstein demanded that she make arrangements for his sexual encounters, clean up after them, and also work with Weinstein while he was in the nude.

Rehal also said she was subjected to unwanted touching by Harvey Weinstein and sexist comments about her appearance, and was made to pick up Weinstein's prescription for erectile dysfunction.

Rehal's suit also named Frank Gil, who was senior vice president of human resources during Rehal's tenure with the company, and Rehal said aided and abetted Weinstein in his alleged harassment.

Rehal, who resigned from the company in 2015, brought her claims under the New York City Human Rights Law.

Rehal is represented by Los Angeles-based employment attorney Genie Harrison and Laura Schnell of Eisenberg & Schnell.

The suit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, where in December six plaintiffs filed suit against Weinstein alleging that he assaulted them—in some cases with the assistance of employees from The Weinstein Co. or Miramax—including civil claims under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.

Benjamin Brafman of Brafman & Associates, who Weinstein retained last year amidst reports that police in New York and Los Angeles were investigating allegations of sexual assault against Weinstein, said in an email that he is not representing Weinstein in Rehal's suit, but said he has denied her claims and that he will respond once he has been formally served.
