The country's first masters program in gambling law will debut in the fall in—where else?—Las Vegas.

The William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, is accepting applications to enter its new Master of Laws in Gaming Law and Regulation program. The idea is to prepare graduates to practice within the sphere of casinos and gambling regulation, associate dean Ngai Pindell said.

Graduates may go on to work in-house at casinos or within regulatory agencies, or else set up practices advising casinos, state governments or manufacturers of gambling equipment, Pindell said.
