UnitedHealth Group Inc.'s pro bono program is expansive. It serves a range of groups, including children, veterans, seniors and nonprofit organizations, and it does so in the Twin Cities and beyond.
Nationwide, the company's attorneys, paralegals and support staff contributed nearly 1,600 pro bono hours in 2014, said Michelle Huntley, who co-chairs the pro bono program and is a deputy general counsel at UnitedHealth, focusing on corporate governance.
“Our employees have a strong commitment to pro bono and giving. We work to change people's lives and hopefully we can make an impact in our communities,” Huntley said.
