Next summer’s law firm summer-associates class is likely to be the largest since 2009, data from the National Association for Law Placement (NALP) show.

On-campus recruiting nationwide increased during fall 2014, when firms interviewed and hired second-year law students to be summer associates. That marked the fifth year in a row that student hiring increased after bottoming out following the 2008 recession.
