The University of Pennsylvania Law School has received $10 million from the W.P. Carey Foundation to endow the joint J.D.-MBA program it runs with the Wharton School.

“With the generous support of the Carey Foundation, our students will continue to be positioned as innovators in the business world,” interim law dean Wendell Pritchett said. “Our J.D.-MBA program combines the resources of an elite law school with a top-ranked business school, and our students use their cross-disciplinary education to confront the complex challenges facing today's corporate leaders.”

The Carey Foundation has been generous with law schools across the United States. It gave $30 million to the University of Maryland School of Law, which subsequently became the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.
