Two William Mitchell College of Law professors have filed suit to block a proposed change to the school’s tenure code that would allow elimination of tenured faculty positions in its proposed merger with Hamline University School of Law.

Such a change would erode job protections professors understood they would receive when they joined the faculty, professors Carl Moy and John Radsan argue in a complaint filed on April 3 in Ramsey County, Minnesota, District Court.
