For law students, one bonus of interning at the Federal Communications Commission is a public send-off.

At the end of Friday's FCC meeting, the commissioners bid humorous farewells to six students who worked as law clerks and invited each to stand and be recognized.

There was Andrew Pramschufer, who is finishing his second year at Georgetown University Law Center and “possesses the most important attribute for working in our office: a broad range of pop-culture knowledge,” said Commissioner Ajit Pai (left). “We told him earlier that [actor] Scott Foley was going to have a luncheon, and Andrew had not only known that he starred in 'Felicity,' but he also informed us he was on Team Noel, which was impressive.”
