Tarter Krinsky & Drogin does it all for the middle-market companies it targets, and also helps huge companies like Citigroup Inc. meet specific needs.

The New York firm and its Princeton, New Jersey, outpost fill a gap between global firms and boutique shops, managing partner Alan Tarter said. Tarter Krinsky has 66 attorneys now, up from 57 at the end of last year. “We've set out to be the best middle-market firm,” Tarter said.

The full-service shop includes corporate and securities, intellectual property, labor and employment practices. The international practice primarily helps foreign companies expand into the United States. “The international group is a great example of our value proposition,” Tarter said.
