The University of New Mexico School of Law has named co-deans to lead the school beginning on Aug. 1. Alfred Mathewson and Sergio Pareja are professors at the Albuquerque law school.

Case Western Reserve University School of Law has been led by acting co-deans Jessica Berg and Michael Scharf since Lawrence Mitchell took a leave of absence in November 2013 and later resigned. But New Mexico provost Chaouki Abdallah said the deanship is a two-person job in announcing the appointments on Tuesday.
