The American Bar Foundation has launched a research initiative focused on diversity in the legal profession and tapped former University of California at Los Angeles Dean Rachel Moran as its first fellow.

Moran will spend the coming year as the William H. Neukom Fellows Research Chair in Diversity and Law, where she will help lead a new research project called The Future of Latinos in the United States: Law, Opportunity, and Mobility. Additionally, she will initiate a separate project examining inequality, diversity, and the future of legal education.
