Cengage Learning is an educational publisher transitioning from a traditional publisher of textbooks to digital content. General Counsel Ken Carson said that this year will be the first time digital revenue will surpass print revenue. Meanwhile, Boston-based Cengage rang up revenue of $1.7 billion in FY 2015.
Carson said the majority of Cengage's revenue is generated in the higher education space, but it is also active in the K-12, professional and library markets.
