Details of the Federal Trade Commission's complaint against the proposed merger of fantasy draft sports DraftKings and FanDuel have come to light in an FTC proposal for a version to be distributed to the public once the actual complaint is filed.

The proposed complaint reflects the agency's suggestions for what of the two firms' price and cost information, revenue and other financial data should be redacted, and will require the approval of DraftKings and FanDuel before it is distributed.

The complaint charges that the merger agreement constitutes an unfair method of competition in violation of Section 5 of the FTC Act and, if consummated, would create a monopoly in violation of Section 7 of the Clayton Act.
