Regulatory law doesn't seem as sexy as litigation or mergers and acquisitions to most law students.

But to Michael Adame, the complex realm of government regulation has long been a source of fascination. The rising third-year student at Harvard Law School is using this summer to carve out a toehold in regulatory work and lay the groundwork for a legal career there.

Talk about auspicious timing.
