What was the most valuable lesson you learned in your first year of practice? Invest in yourself. As a first year, I was determined to gain experience and learn as much as I could from my colleagues. I focused on my professional development and worked hard to gain opportunities that I thought would make me a better attorney.
Describe your biggest win or accomplishment in practice. Our Federal Circuit win for Bridgestone is a vitally important decision as it recognizes the independent strength product marks should be afforded under the law. Also, our recent win for Under Armour in a high-profile case in China signals an encouraging trend for trademark owners.
