Tell us about your biggest trial win from January 2016 to July 2017 and how you achieved the result for your client.

We won a closely watched trade secrets trial in U.S. federal court on behalf of Emirates NBD Bank brought by a startup company, InfoSpan. InfoSpan was seeking $1.66 billion in compensatory and punitive damages. We faced a sympathetic plaintiff and a jury inherently skeptical of our client. However, our team countered with facts to refute InfoSpan’s arguments. We showed that the plaintiff misled Emirates, its product was never fully developed and was — in essence — vaporware.
