Read the Evidence: Kavanaugh's 1982 Calendar, Ford's 4 Declarations

The Senate Judiciary Committee recently asked lawyers for Judge Brett Kavanaugh and his accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, for any evidence they intend to rely on at Thursday's hearing exploring claims the U.S. Supreme Court nominee sexually assaulted Ford at a high school party in suburban Washington in the 1980s.
Lawyers for Kavanaugh, represented by the firm Wilkinson Walsh + Eskovitz, submitted pages from a 1982 calendar to back up his insistence that he did not attend a party as Ford described in her allegation. The New York Times earlier reviewed the calendars, which are dated May, June, July and August 1982. The pages show myriad social outings, beach travel, sporting events and movies. The calendar pages, as the Times noted, do not disprove Ford's claims.
Ford has alleged Kavanaugh pinned her to a bed, tried to remove her clothing and covered her mouth to prevent her from screaming. Kavanaugh has vehemently denied the claims. Ford's lawyers at Washington's Katz, Marshall & Banks submitted to the judiciary committee four declarations from her husband and three friends who corroborate her sexual assault claims. One friend, a lawyer in California, said Ford told him about the alleged sexual assault in 2016.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
