Tell us about your biggest client wins this year. [Motley Rice continues] to advocate on behalf of [its] clients and other plaintiffs as a member of the Takata bankruptcy's Trust Advisory Committee, which meets every three months to plan the next steps in the bankruptcy process. [The firm is] pleased that the work completed by this committee will soon result in the first payments for victims and survivors who suffered debilitat­ing injuries caused by defective Takata air bags, which will be issued by the trust special master in October 2019.

What's the best lesson you learned as a young lawyer? Listen more, talk less, and while listening, comprehend instead of thinking about your next question.

What's been the most significant change in your practice area and how have you adjusted? Videoconferencing and other advances in technology have made communicating with international clients and counsel easier. Not having to travel for these meetings and depositions has allowed my time to be spent on other matters.

Share an interesting fact about your firm that few know. Although [the firm is] based in South Carolina, [it] now [has] 10 other offices around the country.
