Tell us about your biggest client wins this year. Several of the cases I developed and initiated resulted in significant settlements this year. We obtained a nearly $400 million recovery on behalf of Wells Fargo automotive financing customers who allege they were forced to pay for duplicative auto insurance and over $7 million against Florida Cancer Specialists for allegedly unlawfully dividing the market for radiation and medical oncology services.

What's the best lesson you learned as a young lawyer? Mark Twain said, "I apologize for such a long letter—I didn't have time to write a short one." Always take the time to make your written advocacy shorter.

What's been the most significant change in your practice area and how have you adjusted? Class certification is more rigorous, so we have had to essentially prepare our cases for trial much sooner.

Share an interesting fact about your firm that few know. The firm was founded by two Jewish lawyers who could not get hired because of anti-Semitism.
