Tell us about your biggest client wins this year. In a number of unrelated cases, I obtained highly favorable resolutions for executive women that were fired shortly after they announced their pregnancies to employers or were fired while on maternity leave. The rampant discrimination that continues to take place against women simply because they become pregnant is something I am committed to fighting against. I believe that forcing companies to make meaningful changes to the way they treat female employees is the biggest victory I can hope to achieve, and I did so many times this past year.

What's the best lesson you learned as a young lawyer? Simply doing what is expected of you is never enough.

What's been the most significant change in your practice area and how have you adjusted? The increase in the number of viable cases because women are speaking out in a way that did not happen five to 10 years ago. Wigdor has hired more lawyers and staff, and is more selective in cases the firm takes on.
