In the search for his running mate, presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden turned to attorneys at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr, O’Melveny & Myers and Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer to vet and winnow down the field of candidates vying for the position.

Biden on Tuesday announced his long-anticipated pick the role, choosing Sen. Kamala Harris, a Big Law favorite, making her the first Black woman and the first South Asian American woman to be selected as the vice presidential nominee of a major party.
