Jerry Falwell Jr. has turned to Brown Rudnick partner Michael Bowe amid a scandal involving Falwell, his wife and a former business associate. The scandal erupted right before he resigned from Liberty University as president.

Falwell officially made his resignation known late Monday after conflicting reports had him resigning from the Christian school, then unresigning, earlier in the day. After a tussling with the board of trustees, he told the Wall Street Journal that he had just sent his resignation letter to the board.
