Possible U.S. Supreme Court nominees Barbara Lagoa and Amy Coney Barrett both have something in common besides being women: they both have spouses who are practicing lawyers.

Lagoa’s husband is Paul Huck Jr., of counsel at Jones Day’s Miami office, and Barrett’s husband Jesse Barrett is a white-collar lawyer at LaDue Curran & Kuehn, a South Bend, Indiana, law firm that markets itself as SouthBank Legal.
