President Donald Trump’s weekend phone call in which he asked the Georgia secretary of state to “find” the votes necessary to put him ahead of Joe Biden in the race for the White House spurred outrage in legal circles, as lawyers weighed whether and how there should be state or federal consequences.

Joining Trump on the Saturday call with Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, who pushed back against Trump, was Foley & Lardner partner Cleta Mitchell and another Trump attorney, Kurt Hilbert of Hilbert Law in Roswell, Georgia.
