Thomas Griffith, a former judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, is joining Hunton Andrews Kurth as a special counsel in the firm's issues and appeals practice.
Griffith, who will start at the firm Feb. 1, said in an interview that he chose the firm after speaking with several others about potential opportunities. He will also work on congressional and internal investigations as part of his work.
