Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer is deepening its national and Latin American transactional bench further with the arrival of Chris Willott—a leading lending and project finance lawyer.

Arnold & Porter, headquartered in Washington, D.C., has recently been making a push for more transactional business—particularly nationally and in Latin America, and Willott’s move is part of that push. In the last few years, it has advised sovereign issuers on more than $40 billion in finance deals, including the Republics of Colombia, El Salvador, Honduras and Panama. In Latin America, the firm has worked on a number of public-private partnership infrastructure transactions like airport expansions, and toll road and metro projects.
