Another Jones Day lawyer who left for the Trump government has chosen not to return to his old firm, instead landing a partnership at rival Paul Hastings.

Mike Murray left Jones Day in January 2017 to join the Department of Justice as counsel to the deputy attorney general. He subsequently rose through the ranks to principal deputy assistant attorney general and left the DOJ on January 20 .
