U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit Judge Robert King is taking senior status following more than 20 years on the federal bench, giving the Biden administration another vacancy to fill on the Richmond, Virginia-based court.
Of his plan to take semi-retirement on the confirmation of his successor, King said that now is the “the proper time to pass the torch.”
