One of the most senior lawyers in the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) has moved into private practice at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom after an 11-year career in public service.

Bao Nguyen joined Skadden's financial institutions regulation and enforcement group as a partner in Washington on Wednesday. Until July 3, Nguyen was principal deputy chief counsel at the OCC—a post he entered July 2018.
