Right-wing attorney John Pierce has lost his first Jan. 6 client since dropping out of sight 10 days ago after reportedly being hospitalized with COVID-19.

Capitol riot defendant Deborah Lee told Magistrate Judge Zia Faruqui at a hearing on Thursday that she had concerns about her legal representation and wanted to be represented by Cara Halverson, the public defender initially appointed to represent her, according to a minute order posted on Friday.
