Attorneys from Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan are suing the U.S. Department of Justice’s antitrust division for pulling out of a proposed settlement with the National Association of Realtors and then allegedly reopening investigations covered as part of that agreement.

The suit, filed by Quinn Emanuel partners Ethan Glass, William Burck and Michael Bonanno, seeks to quash civil investigative demands issued to the National Association of Realtors because those demands are nearly identical to ones the department agreed to drop as part of a settlement made last year under Makan Delrahim, the head of the antitrust division during the Trump administration.
