California-based litigation boutique Browne George Ross has tapped former White House Counsel Pat Cipollone, along with a handful of other former government and Big Law attorneys, to launch a new office in Washington, D.C.

With Cipollone arriving at the firm, Browne George Ross will change its name to Ellis George Cipollone, a name change which the firm said in a statement also includes the addition of longtime Century City partner and firm leader Dennis Ellis as a named partner.
