Paul Hastings has brought in well-known financial services litigator Allyson Baker to head its Consumer Financial Protection Bureau practice in Washington, D.C., and Baker believes she will be kept busy over the coming years.

Baker’s move comes just weeks after the Senate confirmed the CFPB’s new director, Rohit Chopra, and Baker said financial service companies should expect marked increases in regulatory and enforcement activity from the bureau.
