President Joe Biden’s nominee to lead the U.S. attorney’s office in Minnesota reported earning a $4.2 million partnership share from Jones Day, according to an ethics filing.

If confirmed, Andrew Luger, a partner in Jones Day’s Minneapolis office, will return to the same post he held during the latter years of the Obama administration. His clients at Jones Day included Abbott Laboratories, which has emerged as a leader in COVID-19 testing; the Big Ten conference in college athletics; and Koch Industries, the multinational conglomerate run by conservative mega donor Charles Koch, according to a financial disclosure statement
