Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati is the new home to lawyer and former U.S. ambassador Timothy Broas, who Tuesday joined its government investigations practice as senior counsel in Washington, D.C.

Broas joined the Am Law 50 firm that services technology, life sciences and growth enterprises after almost three and a half years at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner. Appointed by President Barack Obama, Broas served as U.S. ambassador to the Netherlands from 2014-2016, and has more than 30 years of experience as a white-collar criminal defense attorney.
