Health care advocacy and regulation proved once more this week an important offering for law firms in the D.C. area as two firms beefed up their ranks in the field.

Venable added seven senior health care policy advisers to its legislative and government affairs group from Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath, while Manatt, Phelps & Phillips has attracted Rachel Sher as a partner to its health group.
