Washington, D.C.-based legal recruiter Dan Binstock has been playing the piano as a hobby since he was 5 years old. But now, thanks to social media, he's playing for the largest audiences in his life. Videos of him playing pop songs by ear have been viewed 37 million times on TikTok after he persuaded his daughter to help record and post the first one at the end of December. Now his inbox is filled with requests, he's been profiled on local news, and others in the music industry have reached out.
Binstock, of Garrison & Sisson, spoke about his new fame and how he's balancing it with a day job that's as busy as ever, since the pace of lateral moves shows no signs of slowing.
