Twenty-four legal ethics scholars are urging the U.S. Supreme Court to adopt a code of conduct for the justices, arguing it would increase public trust in the institution.
The scholars made their request in a letter to Chief Justice John Roberts Jr. in which they wrote that they were not questioning the integrity of any justice or responding to any extra-judicial activities.
