In these dark times, a cheer went up on the left side of the Great Partisan Divide when U.S. District Judge Amit Mehta of the District of Columbia found that former President Trump and members of his family could be sued for the deadly havoc they helped instigate on Jan. 6. After a yearlong hibernation, justice could now be served and an accurate historical record could be written in stone.
