Two Biden administration nominees for federal trial courts in California and New York have disclosed their pay at Jones Day and Gibson Dunn & Crutcher.

Jennifer Rearden, a nominee for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, reported earning an estimated $1.4 million in 2021, down from $2.8 million in 2020, as a partner at Gibson Dunn, according to her financial disclosure filed with the Senate Judiciary Committee. Robert Huie, of counsel at Jones Day, reported earning $650,000 in 2021, up from $383,386 in 2020. Huie was nominated for a vacancy on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.
