The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit is poised to issue key rulings this summer in a slew of high-profile cases, including those involving Donald Trump’s tax returns and the COVID-19 pandemic.
While the number of filings dropped off in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit last year, the judges remained busy, hearing more than 250 cases since the court’s term began last September. With the last oral arguments taking place this past Friday, the court will now issue opinions while taking a step back from hearing cases from June through August.
