The strength of D.C.-area law firms in the Second Hundred of the Am Law 200 shone through in 2021, despite the cohort not reaching the dizzying revenue heights of some of their competitors in major markets.

While firms heavy in the M&A and transactions business enjoyed massive year-on-year revenue spikes—sometimes in the order of 20% or more—firms in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia (DMV) region, nonetheless all enjoyed healthy revenue growth last year.
