The Senate on Tuesday confirmed Judge Stephanie Dawkins Davis to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in a 49-43 vote.
Davis has served as a U.S. district judge in the Eastern District of Michigan since December 2019, after former President Donald Trump nominated her to the bench.
