The Senate Judiciary Committee deadlocked on the nomination of Nancy Abudu for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit Thursday.
The members, in an 11-11 vote, failed to favorably send Abudu’s nomination to the full Senate, meaning Democratic majority leader Chuck Schumer must file a discharge motion to advance her nomination.
