Judge Judith Rogers of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit informed the White House Thursday that she plans to take senior status in September, according to the judiciary's list of future judicial vacancies.
Former President Bill Clinton appointed Rogers to the court in 1994 after she had served on the District of Columbia Court of Appeals for 11 years.
