A federal appeals court on Monday sided with a brewer that challenged a Texas agency that curbed its to-go beer sales, in a pun-filled opinion that referenced “party fouls” and advised readers to “party on.”

At the center of the case was a Texas statute that allows beer manufacturers to sell their product off site only if they make no more than 225,000 barrels annually at premises they “wholly or partly owned.”
