A record number of law firms respond to NLJ's 2022 LGBTQ Scorecard Survey, a list which offers some insight into the impact open sexual and gender minorities have in some of the nation's largest law firms.

At the top of the list is Chicago-based Jenner & Block with a reported 46 self-identified LGBTQ attorneys and partners, about 11.5% of their legal staff.

"Being LGBTQ-diverse creates an environment where people feel comfortable being their authentic selves," said Jenner & Block associate Andrew Sullivan, who also co-chairs the firm's affinity group LGBTQ Forum.
