CommentarySeinfeld is widely regarded as the greatest sitcom of all time. In one of the show's most renowned episodes Jerry is subjected to a polygraph to determine whether he has ever watched the soap opera "Melrose Place." He has watched it many times, but he's too embarrassed to admit it. Consequently, he seeks the advice of his best friend, George Costanza, who, Jerry proclaims, is "one of the most deceitful, duplicitous, deceptive minds of our time."
