One of the so-called Kraken lawyers has withdrawn from Sidney Powell’s legal team as she faces a defamation lawsuit from voting machine makers Dominion Voting Systems and Smartmatic.

Attorney Howard Kleinhendler ended his representation of Powell in the dispute Wednesday, according to the case docket in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Kleinhendler, along with Powell and attorney L. Lin Wood, were on the team of lawyers behind the failed “Kraken” election challenges. That team was ordered to pay sanctions for one of those failed lawsuits that was filed in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
