A lawyer who spent the first 14 years of his career at Clifford Chance and was formerly in-house at HSBC has joined Squire Patton Boggs in Washington, D.C.

Adam Klauder becomes the latest partner in the firm's government investigations and white collar practice—an expanding area at Squire, which has recently seen the addition of several other new recruits. In July, Hannah Laming arrived from Peters & Peters Solicitors in England as its new UK and European practice head. Former Acting U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Ohio Vipal Patel joined the team in May, while in January Ally Rich joined the practice in Cleveland from Flannery Georgalis.
