Crowell & Moring has hired Jason Prince, former chief counsel to the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control, as a partner in Washington, D.C., the firm said Monday.

The move comes amid more demand in international trade practices. In particular, Prince said he anticipates an “explosion of regulation” and cross-border investigations in the sanctions and export control space.
